Protect items from prolonged moisture, direct sunlight, excessive heat, and sudden temperature changes. Wipe up spills promptly, especially on porous materials such as wood, stone, marble, and unglazed ceramics.

Handle all pieces with care. Ceramic, glass, stone, and marble can chip or crack if dropped, while wood and brass naturally develop a rich patina through everyday use. These subtle changes are part of the beauty of natural materials and make each piece uniquely yours.

This is a heavy piece, so it ships in a reinforced double-walled carton on a tracked courier service — dispatched within 1–2 business days, delivered in 3–7. Expect the parcel to be genuinely weighty: have somewhere flat and clear ready before you lift it out, and take the weight from underneath rather than by the rim. Natural stone varies in vein, tone and weight from the photographs, and that is not a fault. Returns are accepted within 30 days, unused and repacked in the original carton, with return carriage payable by you. For breakage or transit damage, photograph it within 48 hours and we replace the piece.

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and lift spills the moment they happen. Natural stone is porous and acid-sensitive: wine, citrus, coffee and vinegar etch the surface, and etching is permanent, not a stain you can scrub out. Use only water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner, never a household spray or scouring pad. Stand glasses and candles on a coaster or felt pad, and re-seal a heavily used piece once a year. Vein, tone, weight and small fossil pits vary from piece to piece — that is the material, not a flaw. Lift with two hands from underneath; stone chips on impact.
