Clean with a soft cloth and, when needed, warm water with mild soap. Dry thoroughly after cleaning, and avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that may damage the surface.

Protect items from prolonged moisture, direct sunlight, excessive heat, and sudden temperature changes. Wipe up spills promptly, especially on porous materials such as wood, stone, marble, and unglazed ceramics.

Handle all pieces with care. Ceramic, glass, stone, and marble can chip or crack if dropped, while wood and brass naturally develop a rich patina through everyday use. These subtle changes are part of the beauty of natural materials and make each piece uniquely yours.

Candles ship in a fitted carton with the vessel cushioned separately, dispatched within 1–2 business days and delivered in 3–7 on a tracked service. Wax is temperature-sensitive: in hot weather the surface can soften or bloom in transit, which is cosmetic and settles once the candle is back at room temperature. Keep the parcel out of direct sun and away from radiators before you open it. Returns are accepted within 30 days on unburned candles only, in the original packaging with the seal intact — once a wick is lit we cannot take it back. Broken vessels reported with photos within 48 hours are replaced.

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn — an untrimmed wick smokes, mushrooms and blackens the vessel. Burn for two to three hours at a time so the wax pools evenly to the edge, and never longer than four. Keep the pool clear of trimmings and matches, and stop burning when about 10 mm of wax remains to protect the vessel. Burn on a heat-safe surface away from draughts, curtains and anything that could catch, and never leave a lit candle unattended or within reach of children and pets. Once the wax is cold, wash the empty vessel in warm soapy water and reuse it.
