Dust the canvas with a dry microfibre cloth or a soft brush, working gently in one direction. Never use water, glass cleaner or solvent on the surface — it lifts pigment and leaves a tidemark in the weave that cannot be reversed. Do not press the face: the canvas is stretched over a wooden frame, and a firm push leaves a dent that may not relax out. Lift and carry it by the frame edges only, never by the top of the canvas itself. Hang away from direct sunlight, radiators and damp external walls; heat and humidity slacken the stretch and fade the print unevenly. If the surface loosens over years in a dry room, tap the corner wedges gently rather than pulling on the fabric. A little natural texture and slub in the canvas weave is part of the material, not a printing fault.

At 80 × 60 cm this is a landscape piece, which spreads visual weight sideways and suits a sofa, sideboard or headboard better than a narrow stretch of wall. Aim for artwork about two-thirds of the furniture width: this works above pieces around 120–180 cm wide. Hang the centre of the image 145–150 cm from the floor, and keep 20–25 cm of clear wall between the bottom edge and a sofa back. Landscape format visually widens a room, so it earns its place on the longest wall rather than in an alcove. It hangs from a single D-ring, so mark the hook one hanging-wire drop below your centre line. If you group it with other works, leave 10–15 cm between them and align horizontal centres. Avoid stacking anything directly above a landscape piece; it flattens the composition.
